I found a blowout on 2010-11 UD Series 1 fat packs - a lot of 88 for $123. Is this worth spending the money on? I'm really after the valuable rookie cards, and perhaps any other rare cards.
Thanks

I would buy it now
That's well over 25% savings over D&A's asking price of $49.99 for 24 packs...so I'm leaning yes with Hall, Eberle, Skinner, Subban in there...but I'd wait to ask someone who's opened a few and knows what the contents are like on average before pulling the trigger.

definitely buy it.
Thanks guys, appreciate it.
Have fun, go for it. It can't always be about the money.
Collecting all the Ron Hextall Cards especially those
pesky 1 of 1 cards and other low print runs. I am also collecting Bernie Parent, Pelle Lindbergh, Antero Niittymaki & other Flyers goalies. http://s728.photobucket.com/albums/ww288/dam1057/
I bought the load from D&A and felt kinda ripped off, but it was fun opening them. And thats the best part of the fat packs. I may have gotten the short end of the stick but the best YG i got was Bobrovsky.
The inserts are few and far between. I think in my 24 FP's I got 6 YGS and like 12-15 20th Anniversary cards. For your money, its a ton of cards. I wouldn't do it again. But thats just me. Impressive Fat Packs however are the new 12-13 score ones that are in Walmart here in Canada. 52 cards, for 6.48 or something like that. I got 4 RC's 4 gold, Iggy Franchise, Stamkos Team Score. The value however depends on the person. I was impressed, however it should be that good.
