I think the point is that when you are walking and standing in line for 8 1/2 hours, it is nice to have somewhere to sit for a while to eat your food or open up a box of cards. Baltimore was extremely lacking in this compared to Chicago.
I just completed putting all of the cards from my box purchases and bin purchses into the organize. I think the greatest pickups I got was from the one box search where the guy had refractors and serial numbered cards for 5 for $1.00. I ended up with a ton of value to include 4 Yankees cards worth $20 total with a purchase price of .80 cents. I'm definitly going to have to spend more time box searching next year.
