I wanted to pass the word to the board members here first before I post it to other site boards.
This contest is being conducted by a friend of mine (Kurt) and by the generosity of www.ShirtWhiz.com.
As every game worn or jersey collector knows it is usually very expensive to display your jerseys. Aside from framing the jersey, which is very costly, most of the other display products actually damage the shoulder area of the jersey by causing the infamous “shoulder nipples”. Recently, when I was returning from vacation I was browsing through a magazine and came across a new product called the Shirt Whiz. It is a very ingenious, safe and inexpensive alternative to the other displays.
My friend whom is also a game worn jersey collector has reviewed several jersey displays to which all didn’t rate very well when it came to preserving the jerseys original form and not damaging them. I sent him the contact info for the company and its inventor. He promptly contacted www.ShirtWhiz.com to ask if they would be willing to send a sample for us to review, and explaining our concerns from past other displays. The inventor’s son responded almost immediately, he was going to send two Shirt Whiz Jersey display systems out and they would be received in a couple of days.

After the review was written, it was forwarded back to Billy at Shirt Whiz. Prior to the review, Kurt noted that if we did not like the product we would return it back to them. However, if we did like it as a gesture of good faith, one of the ones we did received would be given away via a contest. Shirt whiz like the idea so much, they have decided to give us retail packaged version of their product to give away rather than the one we originally received.
