Toys R us Blister packs...

Toys R us Blister packs...
So I was in TRU saturday and wandered by the card rack thinking about buying a couple blister packs of 2012 series 1 for the purple parallels...

In general, I like TRU blisters due to the fact that they are usually cheap ($3) and include some sort of exclusive parallel/set which have a pretty decent resell value on the secondary market.

I wish I had snapped a picture with my phone but I didn't think to at the time...the 2012 Heritage blisters' exclusive parallel is....a cutout...

Thats right...you gotta cut the damn thing out of the packaging yourself and it doesn't even have a "card" backside (just the standard text on the back of the pack)...and to top it off, the pack contained a single retail pack of heritage for 3.99

methinks they really screwed the pooch on that product...

Toys R Us here overcharges on all of their cards, blasters were like $26 instead of $19 the one time I dared venture in there.

TRU is overpriced but to be honest the one here never has anything newer than the previous years stuff. They are still trying to get $17 for 2008 and 2009 blasters.
