As far as I know the only pads Irbe ever had custom made for him were the pads he wore made by EAGLE, and they were custom made to be the same design as his old Koho Revolutions and they said EAGLE on the pads. These things I donno man, there is no brand, no size, no nothing. And Ive never seen a company not put their name on a custom design. Why would they stitch "Custom made in canada for Irbe"...

Eaither way though, for "just" a pair of goalie pads, the starting price isnt bad at all. If these are 32" pads (the seller hasnt emailed me back bout any of the questions I asked) then heck, I may just pick them up as an extra set of pads...

This also has a "Custom made for Irbe" tag on it... But their isnt anything "custom" about it. Its just a regular series # Koho Revolution glove, the same as the old one I used before I got my McM... Again tho, cheap price so all "Irbe" factor aside, I might have to pick these 2 items up just to play in haha

It looks very much like a pair of goalie pads he got Arturs to sign. If they were truly game used pads $199 would be bargain basement starting pricing, but you are correct that they look like a good deal for a set of pads. Like the others have stated there is an awful lot of BS in this offering.

He states they arent game worn, but they were custom made for Irbe, who never used them. The game worn scuffs on the pads are from the sellers own use. Im just confused why it would say "Custom made in canada for Irbe" stitches in the side... Instead of "Custon by Koho" or "Custom by Eagle" then just have "IRBE" stitched somewhere, like how a players stick is stamped with the name. Also, why would a goalie have a tag sewn on their glove that that says "Custom for Irbe" on it... You just dont see that

IMO it would never have a tag saying custom made for whoever. Like you said in your last post it usually just has the goalies name on it, which pretty much signifies it was custom name for them. At least that's what I always thought.
