Hey all, I have a possible job opportunity there and was wondering what it is like. I went through there last summer for vacation and thought it was nice.

Any info would be great. Googling info just does not cut it some times.

It is nice and the beaches are very close. Port Aransas is the hot spot there and Mustang Beach. You already have a job there so that is plus. Most people that go to beach towns, jobs are not plentiful, not any good ones that is.

From what I saw over the summer when I was on Padre Island, it is nice.. I just started looking up card stores too lol, and its about 5 hours from San Antonio. Don't have the job quite yet but would love it. Started looking at houses there too, some really nice ones!

My sis lives in Victoria about a half hour away and her in-laws live in corpus...its a nice place....only been there about a half dozen times though....good luck
