2012 topps sp

Does anyone know is the sp's from topps are hobby only or are they also in retail boxes.
I am the resident super collector of David Wright. I also collect Jose Reyes, Michael Jordan, Brett Favre, Antoine Walker and Rookies.

I know last year I pulled a SP last year from a wall hanger from Target.
Main Players: Derek Jeter, Mike Sweeney, Brett Hull, Jordan Binnington, Brendan Gallagher, Jaden Schwartz and Leon Draisaitl
Sets: Allen & Ginter mini, 2018 Archives, 2019 Heritage, 2019-20 OPC/Upper Deck Series 1 & 2 Hockey and 1956 Topps Baseball 
They hit the bay before hobby was released so they have to be from both.
They are in both, but I think the early retail had more than the hobby and I opened a Jumbo case and I think more came out of retail than my hobby jumbo case!!!
I pulled 3 sp's from a case of hobby boxes and I've pulled 3 sp's from 6 blasters. They are definetly in both but it seams I had better luck in the blasters.
This thread has helped me a lot. I was going to let my son buy a jumbo hooby pack but I will talk him into a blaster instead. Thanks to some great traders on here he has majority of the 2012 that he going after but the SPs.

thanks for all the replies. i found a few topps retail boxes on clearance from 2010 and 2011 and figured i could finish my set needs and sell any sps i get and get some of my money back.

I just got my 2nd 2012 SP in the Golden Giveaway retail box. I got Cano and Morse Gatorade. I feel pretty awesome right now LOL.
