Tim Wakefield retires at 45
Great career, 200-180 record, 4.41 ERA, 2156 strikeouts. Not a HOF career, but definitely a long and solid one. 16 years with one team is impressive in baseball these days

Enjoyed watching Wakefield pitch. Even if it wasn't a HoF career, was a hometown hero for me and my friends.
