I recently purchased one off of Ebay. Are there really fakes and if so does this sound like one?

89 UD Griffey is too wide for card holder?

Fake, miscut are both possibilities.
Also, there's a cheap brand of toploaders out there that are slightly narrower than standard UltraPro ones...I generally just toss them when I get them, as it's nearly impossible to fit a normal card + sleeve into it. Perhaps try a different top loader?
Am I wrong, or are there some toploaders out there designed for older/vintage cards that are a little wider?

I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.

I also know that the vintage cards will fit in regular top loaders as long as you do not use a penny sleeve (taking a chance at putting scratches on the surface though).
