So i had to do an onsite at a former player's house last week. he had some stuff damaged, and i was there to take inventory. i was at his house for a couple days.

His family couldnt have been nicer (i was just getting bronchitis...his wife made me home made chicken noodle soup), and the whole experience was a good one (ive had some bad onsite visits in the past. some folks look at me as being the opposition, and think theyll have to fight me to get more money. im just an independent contractor)

at the end of the second day, im getting ready to head back home, and the lossee ends up giving me some signed photos (my family is from where he went to college), and the kicker: a Dallas Cowboys game ball (he has connects with the organization)

a nice little going away gift....times like this i love this sidejob

man oh man, that is freaking awesome sauce! I have always wondered how a actual NFL game ball feels. I played QB for a few years in middle school till i changed over to DB in high school. Actually got to chunk a few authentic college balls in stillwater oklahoma, but never a NFL ball.
