RE: new grading format.
Mint =/= new

Mint = perfect; no flaws.

Most cards through no fault of your own aren't perfect, even right out of the pack.

All other Beckett publications had the standard of NM/Mt as hi BV for modern cards, with true mint cards carrying a premium over hi book - they just adjusted the OPG to match all other Beckett publications.

I found this out yesterday during a trade and changed all cards to the NM/Mt

I thought this was a known mistake with the pricing? Didn't realize it was correct that hi book is now nm-mt

Are all your cards actually NM/MT?

I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.

I think that all raw cards should be designated as NM-Mt (8) or NM-Mt+ (8.5). To claim a card as "mint", I think that the card should be graded as such, either a BGS, PSA, or SGC 9.0

Great corners and picture. When I pull them during trades though I'll change if needed. All have been in Penny Sleeve's and 9 Card Ultra Pro Platinum pages since I got them.
