I've hit the mother load. As some of you have seen in my sig, or perhaps even visited - I run my own blog and also use it as a place to catalog PC cards. Well, I haven't written anything since the season started because I have been busy, but thats not the point.

A fellow got to my Patrick Roy collection through Google and contacted me about buying his collection because he decided to focus on his other smaller PC's.

After he cross-referenced his cards with the lists on my blog he e-mailed what he had to offer. I double checked his list and the final tally is 533 Roy cards that I don't currently own. He said he would offer me way below BV and auction value if I took the whole lot and after he shot me a price I had to jump on it.

I also have a few cards for his PC that I will be mailing out to him tomorrow. My Roy PC has just grown by about a third and I am extremely excited about it! When I was looking through his list I noticed a lot of emerald/red/gold versions of cards. One Pacific Emerald I remember looking at a few weeks ago BV's at $120 by itself so I did very, very well.

Wanted to share with someone so I figured this was the place to do it!
