Make sure you stick to a budget. I've seen so many collectors but tons of cards & make a massive collection only to have to turn around & sell it a few months later.. It's sad seeing those days. I am one of them that had to sell a few cards that were my favorite... like a MJ BLACK AUTO /15 & Exquisite Collections Lebron Auto Box ser 6/25. Sold all 4 cards (3 auto) & auto box for $1540 w/ shipping.. Think it should of went for around $2k..

far out never had and mj auto there frekin every where now when i was collecting the only auto that i knew of was the 95 cc blow up one i think it was in the 5k mark how much has changed one card i really want is the 97 metal prescious gem green or red that would never happen

I remember those 95 CC blow up cards.. I have a few auto'd that I got as boxtoppers.. I thought they were the best thing... First autos I remember from packs was the Jerry West Heroes.. & Fleer Dikembe... also, those early Hoops autos.. john stockton

well i was collecting over 15 year ago in australia stopped when mj retiered and my little brother has brought me back into the card collecting, so much has change grading i never heared of grading b4 until i started looking on ebay well ive got a long way to go but i wont be collecting further than 96 unless i find something i like lol anyways its nice that bgs have a forum
question i bought a 88 fleer jordan as no 120 graded bgs 9.5 what would it be worth thanks

I have done the exact same thing.... i had a huge collection of jordan cards pre 97... including fleer rookie and lost the lot in 2000(stolen)...
I just started trying to replace what i had and have realised that its impossible to just stick to the cards i had...
Jersey cards are awesome!
I started about 3 months ago and realised that i was paying full price on cards that were not in good condition....
So i have been trying to only get graded cards with a minimum of 9 BGS grade...
I got these so far,93/94 living legend BGS 9, 93/94 scoring king BGS 9, 93/94 all defensive BGS 9.5, 92/93 team leader BGS 9, 93/94 power in the key BGS 9, 92/93 total D BGS 9, 94/95 playoff hero die cut BGS 9.5, 93/94 famous nickname BGS 9.5, 92/93 beam team BGS 9.5, 92/93 fleer allstar BGS 9....
And about 100 ungraded cards i can't find graded....
I have spent way too much money, but i'm not even a quarter of the way there...
But it as been fun!!!

hegotgame1515... Those are some nice graded cards you have. I have the same cards. Been trying to find a Living Legends graded 9.5 or 10, but they are hard to find. They always have chipping. I love the Famous Nicknames & All Defensive MJ cards... The All Defensive was the most expensive card I owned, besides my MJ RC, with rounded corners & a pin hole.

and about 170 ungraded from when i was collecting back in the 90s Hopefully will get there one day lol
