question on mark prior rookie cards
If im not allowed to ask this, please tell me mods.
But i remember Prior having just as much hype as strasburg when he was drafted. I wasnt into collecting then though.
How much were his rookie cards going for on ebay, and what was the book price of them when he was drafted and during his rookie season?
Again, if this isnt allowed, im sorry.

Man, I collected hard core in 2001 and the Priors were never like Strasburg. The hype was but cards never went like they do now. I think the better ones were booking $120 or so. I recall some of his cards selling near the $250 mark, but that was only a few and never really more.

In early 2004, people were buying 2001 products for 2 players: Prior and Pujols. In this case, because of Pujols, no one got hurt on wax. However, the people who bought Prior got sizzled.

I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.
