What's an easy way to figure out where/when card shows are located? Is there a website that works best?

Thanks a lot -- both suggestions help a lot. How do you know if it's going to be a "good" card show....? Should I call ahead and ask what will be their focal point or speciality at the show?

id just go i mean even the one that i went to that i found on there was small maybe only 8 or 9 tables but still got some hell of cards and made some good trades

No usually its all the same people selling. There is good people and there is bad people. What I do is just go and browse for a while and ask a few questions and really feel out the room. This time of year everyone is focusing on football but there are some good basball finds to be had. I take cards because I like trading more then buying but it is really up to you.

What I'm really looking for is a buyer for a high-end/high-dollar set.... Is the card show route my best bet or is posting in forums my best avenue?

depending what you have they may buy though i know that i brought some cards and every guy i asked was more open to trading then buying
