Hi all, I was just wondering, are there any players who only have one card listed? Isaac Redman of the Pittsburgh Steelers THE KEARY COLBERT HOARD NOW HAS OVER 500 DIFFERENT CARDS! & MORE THAN 1500+ WITH 500+ AUTOS
I thought Maurice Stokes might only have 1 card but I was wrong. Turns out he has 8.
I've been reading a lot about Maurice Stokes recently. He was named to the All-League 2nd Team in each of his first three seasons in the NBA and averaged 16.4ppg, 17.3rpg and 5.3apg. However, his career came to a sad end when he suffered a concussion during a game which led to him having a seizure during a flight a few days later, causing paralysis from the neck down. He eventually learned to speak and regained the use of his hands (and even managed to take a few steps later in his life), but he died of a heart attack in 1970 at the age of 36. This card becomes the oldest in my collection and is Stokes' rookie card. 1957-58 Topps #42 Maurice Stokes DP RC |
