which 2005 box?
I am about to buy a box or 2 from the year 2005.
As you may guess i would like to pull an Aaron Rodgers rc, but know the odds are against me.
So which box would you buy that would have hits besides an Aaron Rodgers Rc.
I was thinking SPX

beckett doesnt list it as an exchange and i cant say that i have ever seen a redemption card for one. but lets be honest here, the cards you really want out of 05 are alex smith and frank gore lol

I bought a box of 05' sp authentic a while back...
and the rc patch i pulled was i think avant or basket from the eagles.

Beckett takes the EXCH off when the card is redeemed on those old sets. I don't know if Rodgers is a redemption, but there are many redemptions in the product and UD will not honor them or give a replacement. I tried with a Roethlisberger Auto and got nothing. If you buy SP Authentic, you should probably go into it with the thought of a lottery ticket, with 99 winners.
Odds are probably better on other 2005 products on hitting the Rodgers, but they aren't worth as much.

nope....there are not 99 winners becuase people already won some of them.
I was kind of leaning toward spx or maybe ultimate

A lot are gone, there are multiple types of Rodgers autos in SPX, but I still don't know if they were originally redemptions. I don't think they should be because he was warming up the bench, so he should have had plenty of time to sign.
