With all the rejected offers you can pretty much think that the seller is unrealistic on his pricing. Would love to have the card myself. Maybe we can go halves on it Hugh. That way we would only need $24,999.00 each.

Well from what the seller says that he has an offer for over $10,000 right now and I think that is way to much. We can only wait and see but he's got 1 buyer @ over $10,000 there might be a couple more out there willing to shell out a bt more.

Time capsule: What will that card sell for 30 years from now, in today's dollars?

It's a very nice card, but there is no way that it would be worth more than his Cup RC. It's not as sought after as that one... but good luck to him. If he can nab $50K for that, hats off!!!

Great card but I cant understand what Upper Deck sees in producing all these dual cards of the same player. Just not for me I guess.
Also I agree with Randi, shouldnt be worth more than his Cup RC but who knows.

Why on earth would anyone pay $10,000 for a card. I can't see myself spending more than $200 for a single card.

I think that the value 30 years from now all depends on how much more of a career he will have. Hopefully he returns and keeps producing but there is that outside chance he is the next Eric Lindros and has a great career cut short. Also if a card like this is produced each year there will be 15 or more out there making it easier for collectors to own one.
Long career - $5000-7500
Short career - $1500-3000
