Good to see someone get excited over a card that isn't autod or a patch for a change. But I think maybe you are overvaluing this card already or something.

I am just excited it's not a true "common"..... lol! Hey, after the work day I have had, any news HAS to be better than the 10 hour work day I just put in!

Thanks. I feel the same way. I really don't have that large of a collection, maybe about 10k baseball, football, hockey, and basketball and just recently got back into the hobby, so right now anything other than a common score for me I get amped about. I am doing some research on whether or not to order directly from the card manufacturers ( such as www.toppsonline.com) or wholesalers. The market is in the crapper right now, and I don't have the time to go to flea markets and shows to find items. I have not collected seriously since the internet was introduced in the early 90's so I don't even know what all is out there ( Google pulls up several wholesalers) but I do know there are literally hundreds of people selling wholesale lots for close to nothing. I don't have a lot of money to spend on the hobby, but I won't blink twice if I see a good deal on a huge lot. I don't limit myself by collecting just one player or one team or one sport, because I am interested in many different things, especially if the item looks like it could be worth something, if not now, maybe in the future.
Occasionally I will just keep a common card for the heck of it in hopes it will be worth a few in the future, there is something about being the underdog......coming out of nowhere, and then...
