new vs. old MJs
So since I got back into collecting a few months ago I've picked up some newer stuff as you guys know, but primarily to use as trade bait. In the process I've picked up 50-60 different newer MJs, no big hits, but about 30 of the MJ Legacy cards and a handful of inserts in the $10-$15 range.
I still really prefer the cards from when he was playing and am considering making my newer MJs available for trade/sell, but I would only want older MJs in return. Any thoughts, opinions or potential takers?
I collect Michael Jordan, Mitch Richmond, and Ohio State players (football and basketball) in OSU gear. I strongly prefer 90's-era cards and use newer cards primarily for trade bait!

still looking for the five of 181.315.547.562.682 in the legacy.
Older Jordan's definitely have the edge right now. You might have to trade a bit more of the newer stuff to get older? Kind of depends on the trader.
Collect Michael Jordan, Stockton/Malone/Hornacek/Eaton, Kresimir Cosic, Int'l oddballs

I actually checked my Legacies when you posted about that a few days ago. Don't have any you need unfortunately I would've been happy to trade them to help complete such a huge set!
And I'd be ok losing a bit on bv. I have a VERY modest MJ collection, a shade over 400 counting the new ones and only one that books above $40, I just really like the older ones and would like to get to 1000, so even if I got mostly $1-$2 MJs if I needed them I think I'd be ok with that.
I'm still busting old wax when I can afford to to try to hit more MJs. Busting packs is still the most enjoyable part of the hobby IMO.
