I would go by team, maybe for some of the big player names if you have alot do a player lot(Favre, Brady, Manning etc). But team works pretty good.

I'm general collector (I very rarely buy single cards or buy off ebay auctions) but I always sort by team. Sadly, In my almost 15 yrs of collecting I have yet to find a time saving method of sorting.

Just give yourself a big ***** table, poker or dining room preferably, and go to town on all 32.

Also for me Pink Floyd and David Gilmour help keep the flow going, once you stop you'd rather cut off your own leg with a spork than start back up again.

***** I also would be very interested in seeing how many Packers you end up with.

Good luck did that myself not too long ago. Spread it out over 2 days and a total of over 10 hours.
I had about 1/2 of what you do.... maybe not but still.
