Well.... avoided this place... every deal I was doing turned into a major headache... even had a couple cards stolen... so lifes been good if anyone's curious... but a Google search showed not being here had me almost miss out on a nice rare oddball, so I am going to sit back in the shadows, but update my thread.... 8 months of updates coming up....

I saw the multiple colored ones... Not as nice as the open one color IMO... if a nice patch in the open window comes along, I'll be tempted.

Here's the reason I started coming back to this site, outside of people asking me to help with product knowledge.... Saw this one on eBay... Google searched to find one cheaper, and the Kaufman guy had posted on Beckett about these!!!! Saved me $90 and a lot of grief!


So with the money I saved, I was able to finally add this one.... 45/45... Auto is a lot darker than it scans...



And this card is just too cool... Wasn't a fan of this card set until I saw a Kellen Winslow in person.... LOVE having the Marino now!!!! And its 08/10!!! If you have a guy you collect, and you think these are dumb, but have not seen one in person yet... BUY IT!!!

Just noticed the two autos both have similar looks on Marino's face.... to think.... those photo's have to be 10 years apart.... its amazing he was still using the same throwing motion through all that time, injuries, and surgeries.

The most amazing day for my Marino PC!!!!

I FINALLY am able to add this Marino. Only seen it twice in 12 years. One time, 12 years ago, it sold for $130 via auction, the other was Burbanked for $180 without scans. It popped up as a $60 BIN and I would not speak until the item was paid for. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to track this one down. How happy? I was willing to spend over $200 and a $40 finders fee to finally get this,,, THE LAST CATALOGED INSERT CARD I NEEDED (since I last checked the ever changing OPG)... THE 1997 UPPER DECK MVP GOLD /100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Its amazing, how that insert card steals all the thunder from the other card I got today.
