The film should be embedded between the layers of the card. Or make the film the same size as the card, pressed between layers only exposing the window. When there is a will, there is a way. That's why I tend to believe the manufacturers make it so easy, with purpose, or at a very least they make believe the problem doesn't exist because they don't get hurt. The consumer does.

Either that, or actually embed the swatch IN the card so they use a pair of tweezers and a gluestick to change the patch. That way, we can still touch the jersey, but it can't be altered because it cannot be removed.
