A lot of people become disinterested in the hobby and I think one of the reasons is lack of adapting their collecting style and then things get stale. Good luck with our new quest!
Yes exactly!!! The hobby started getting real stale for me. I took 5 months off back in Oct 11' to Feb 12' and did nothing. No trading, buying, or even logging on to Beckett. It helped a lot. Now that I have been back for a few months I made the decision to take on this path with my collecting. Now I'm actually excited like a kid again

It actually kinda surprised me that PSA 8 1980 Hendersons were going between $45 and $60. I picked it up for $52. Not too bad. I'm happy with it. I think it looks great at an 8. The PSA 9's jump to $250 to $350. Big jump in price. It was the first card I asked for as a Chistmas gift at 10 years old. I wanted to be just like him as a kid. Batting stance and all

When I first started collecting I started a PC with him and Alex Rodriguez. Now i bust wax and pull pretty decent prospects! Still seeing that Rickey reminds me of my old collection..

Picked this up at my LCS for my Mets collection. Good thing about being a Mets fan is that cards like this are dirt cheap

I have always wanted one of these no matter the condition. I think it looks great for a PSA 5. Centered great. Good eye appeal.

Picked this up to. Almost done with my Ryans up to 1979. Just need 1969, 1970 and 1971.
