1956 Aparicio RC...in good condition. My only real family connection, historically speaking, to baseball I have is that my mother remembers hearing Aparicio's name on TV when she was a child growing up in a White Sox household. Her dad is a die hard Sox fan, and used to go to games at Comiskey in the early 1930s with his aunt and her Irish husband. He used to spend time in Chicago (lived in Davenport, IA) with is aunt, since his father passed away when he was 7. My mother actually recalls when her grandmother lived with her as a kid (they shared a room) and even her grandmother would love to talk about Aparicio and how good of a ballplayer he was.
