I mean, it's not like the NFL couldn't say they didn't know that something like this could happen. Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf was suspended by the Denver Nuggets back in 1996 for sitting during the anthem. http://www.thepostgame.com/mahmoud-abdul...ick-anthem
