This past week I was in Savannah visiting my in-laws. At some point early in the week my wife got into an argument with her father and I got on my iPad to get away from the chaos. I stumbled upon an auction for 2 boxes of 1997 E-X2000 that I thought was a fair BIN price. It made me happy thinking that I would have something to crack when I got home and possibly get an essential credentials card. I got home last night and I just opened the first box this morning. I forgot how nice these cards look right out of the pack. It is only a 60 card set and I got 44 base cards w/ no dupes, so I should complete the set with the next box. You get 2 'star date' cards per box and 1 'fleet of foot'. I was really happy because I PC Kordell so getting the insert was a plus but I forgot that you could get Autographics in these boxes. REALLY HAPPY because I got one. Check it out.

I am going to hang on to the Favre for now. I didn't have his auto until now so I want to keep it for a while.

I just opened the second box and it had nothing, in fact, it had the same two star date inserts and the fleet of foot was Steve young. But the first box put this break over the top!

Even with the second box I'm short three cards for the set, 33, 40, 44. If anyone has them I will gladly trade for them or buy them.
