Autographs and Jersey cards hurting the hobby?

Autographs and Jersey cards hurting the hobby?
Is it just me or are the trading card company’s hurting the hobby with the over population of autographs and jersey cards? It used to be a great thrill to pull an autograph out of a pack! Now that’s all collectors care about. If the card is not low numbered or has a jersey attached, it’s worthless. I believe the hobby is too much about money now. Boxes with guaranteed hits!? I think that anyone who buys a box/pack should have the same odds of pulling a hit…Not just the people with the most money who can buy boxes with guarantees. Just wish they would stop putting Auto’s and Jerseys on ever card! Maybe one insert set with ether or in each card release. This in turn would create a high demand for those cards and would be a prize possession. That’s my rant for the day…
NBA 50 GREATEST AUTOGRAPHS - 48/50 - 96%

50 Greatest still need - Chamberlin, Maravich.
