I was buying a ton of Quaker Oats granola bars to get a set of those cards during the 80s as well as chewing way too much bazooka bubble gum to acquire a full set of those cards. Fun stuff!

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
