First, I agree on trading at BV for 99% of the things I trade for. With that being said there are definite problems with the Beckett BV on some cards. Check the 2008 Stadium Club Kershaws and try and explain it to me. The regular auto has a BV much higher than the Gold auto which is #'d to 50, and the Gold auto has a BV less than the non-auto, and the BV on the Gold and Blue auto's are much less than you could buy them for. Most of the time, for non-graded cards anyway, I think Beckett serves as a very good guide but there are exceptions and with scarce or hard to find items it's all about finding the person who wants it and can't find it anywhere else.
