Comments: An excellent ending with the Marte relic auto, but no low numbered prospect auto to change fortunes. So congratulations to 20youksox, winner of Contest #1! The easy part is over for him; now he’ll have to way as I slowly, painfully wend my way through the other four cases before he collects his prize. Well done, 20youksox!

Case #1 Summary
Grade: A
Comments: Obviously I am very happy with this product so far. It’s unclear to me how much my ratings are inflated, but as you can see from my past breaks, I am not characteristically generous with my ratings. One point worth mentioning, however, is that I am grading based on my purchase price of $980 per case. Since its release the price has shot up to $1400, and I think deservedly so. But even using that purchase price I’d have to grade this first case B-. There’s value in nearly every part of this break, from emerald parallels of Mike Trout to die cut inserts of Bryce Harper, not to mention the featured prospects and the designated hits. Hoping I see the same kind of break in the next cases. Will be back later tonight with details on the second contest. 20youksox, I’ll PM you with details of your prize this evening.
