Seen it before, because UDA does not have online verification on items over 10 years old, and anything older you have to wait to get an answer on.
On top of that, if they know how to get another UDA cert, why would you not and tell the buyer to. It would only increase your resale value.
I agree. They state in their auction that a UDA certificate would only cost $20. I can't imagine a seller knowing this and not spending the $20, as it would easily return more than an additional $20 in bidding.
That being said, I didn't realize that UDA stopped doing online verification for items over 10 years old now. That definitely adds to the possible scamming that people could do.
