I personally think if say 200 people from those other sites were to all come over at once and start using the site, people wouldn't complain about the $20. But $20 (that's just the yearly Org price) is too much for people who would only make 6-10 trades a month with who we currently have over here. But for me, to be able to search for a card and find out who has it rather than making a thread and getting X responses and having to look through Buckets or lists, etc., you can't beat it. And then to be able to see if you have anything they need (if they mark it accordingly) or see if they have something you need without having to have 2-3 windows open, it's awesome. What I really like though, is that if I'm looking through Someone's org, I can search by a static naming scheme, rather than having lists that can be written in any fashion. Grant Hill 98 Collector's Choice #33 (not sure if it's a real card) or 97/8 or 97/98 or 1997/1998 or 1997 or 1997-98 or 1997-1998 or any other combination when it's 1997-98 Collector's Choice #33 Grant Hill. I also dislike when someone puts (even though I know it's a matter of preference) 2009-10 Upper Deck Legends #251 Michael Jordan when it's 2009-10 Upper Deck #251 Michal Jordan L (even though I don't think Beckett uses the L). It's a subset, not an insert set. There's so many things I prefer here than anywhere else.

i agree xstream, im only on one other site, and just day i started commenting in the trade/sell section and posting scans for people to see if i can strike any trades. but it does suck not being able to pull them up in the trade function and seeing what all they have for trade, im not about to go through someone's bucket looking for cards i need, this is a hobby and im not going to invest that much effort into finding 30 bv worth of cards i need lol. i just dont understand, to do this hobby, you have to have some expendable income, and to get on here and org and trade, the cheapest way you can do that is a yearly $20 fee i believe, thats not alot. alot of people on there are spending 2000 a week on wax. i still say beckett needs to advertise better, send out emails to exmembers, have ads in lcs's. i dont know if its the fee or if its the beckett name that people are not wanting to support this site? also people dont like to have a properly moderated site it seems like. the site im on, its pretty crazy to see people on there arguing everyday like 2 year olds, im all for debates, but some of the threads get pretty ridiculous. i think this is the place to be, we just need people to come here and "be".
