RETAIL RANT: beyond pack searching
#11

RE: RETAIL RANT: beyond pack searching
This reason is why I'll only buy blasters from retail stores. Unless I see a fully stocked box that doesn't look like it's been rummaged through. I'm almost positive that at Target they're stocked by a 3rd party since my mom works there and I asked her if they ever mark down their old cards and she told me nope because they have an outside guy that comes in and takes them back, etc. At my LCS they keep everything way behind the counter and pick the packs for you, which I don't mind because they don't always grab the packs right on top, sometimes they'll pick random packs throughout the box.

CARD THIEVES AND PACK SEARCHERS WILL BE....(put your suggestion here) forced to watch every Houston Astros game this season or be prosecuted for shop-lifting.

A few years back I bought some blasters that had been opened and resealed.

Card thieves and pack searchers will be opened, searched, and resealed (searching without success for a conscience).

Will have their pictures taken and posted on every online card forum ! Their are some here on this forum. Hate to say it, but I know it. Also those who think blasters are safe, watch out, not only do they reveal them, they weigh them, so they know with out even having to do all this. I love retail, but ido know if a searcher has been there. So I will not buy if cards are slid up in the packs, that means all the hits are gone.

Guys! This is what you do,When you see a pack searcher going through the cards you just walk up and grab what they just sorted. My wife did that and I never laughed so hard in my life! The look on their faces is priceless! What are they going to do? Tell the manager? Hey manager,This person just took the cards I just pack searched!

That is great, good for her. Would have loved to seen the look on his/her face, priceless I bet.
Looking for all types of rookie cards. Only trade with a d/c #. If you have less than 25 trades you must ship first. Thanks.
