hahaha...mine complained at first but then she got a nice fat 10k check for my avatar so she shut up pretty quick after that lol...i still have to hide some from her though lol. I work with metal and wind up with alot of scraps that i return to the junk yard and spend on cards, and she dns't know, hahaha...

Make sure she knows that whatever a fight might be about, throwing your cards across the room or out the window should never happen.

My wife is a the Yankees fan but she dose believe I have way to many cards. I have gotten her interested in cards some though as well as my 2 daughters. We will make a trip to walmart and pick up a few blaster boxes every once in awhile. I will pick one my wife will pick one and I let my daughters pick one each. We get back home and open them and basically see who gets a better box. My wife opens her own but I open mine and my daughters, after its done we normally decided on a treat and the winner gets the treat. Its fun to see them excited as I tell them what cards they got that were good. So far since last year I have done it 3 times and my oldest daughter Jacey has won once and my youngest daugheter Jaylee won twice. My wife likes Allen and Ginter the most so normally we do it with those boxes.

Card spending tips for the married man

#1- Always low ball what you actually spent.
#2- Make sure you are home to check the mail EVERYDAY
#3- Have money put aside for her to get her nails done or get new shoes
#4- Let her open some packs and tell her she found something good
(even if she didn't)
#5- Try to pay with cash or make sure you pay the credit card bill
#6- If she sees you with something new always put it aside and tell her
you love her. (distraction is key)


If anybody else has some good rules. put em up

BE HONEST works well. Although that may throw out those 6 rules.

Always be honest. A woman will get over you spending too much money, but not about lying if they catch you.

Make sure she has her hobby(s) so you can gripe about what she spends on it.
