The "What's it worth" Thread 1/1 Edition
So, I have this card and I have no idea what to value it at. I know the whole "It is only worth what someone is will to pay story". But I am looking for a realistic value. Something that works for both parties if someone is selling a 1/1. I feel there is a market price for certain items like this and I also know there is a HUGE market price for the 1/1's that just don't get made very often or won't get made ever again. Those fall into that category of "what someone is willing to pay".
So here is the card.

This thread is also open for others to post their cards that they have questions about.
So please post some input and some cards and let's get this thread rolling.
Thanks!

I would estimate $60.00 and 120 in trade value

If you come up with a value on it I'd be interested.

To figure this out, I normally try to find other 1/1's that have sold on eBay for a player of similar quality / value in my best estimate. 2012 Johnny Cueto that sold for $31. I'd say that he is pretty similar to Dee Gordon.
I did a little more searching and found a 2011 Aroldis Champman that sold for $75.
Based on that, my guess is maybe cash value of $50, trade value of $100.
Thanks,
- Steve

I guess if you were in Miami, that card would be worth a % more than anywhere else.
He's not a superstar (yet
), but after taking the NL batting title, he could be 'on his way' ... So, I'd risk holding onto it until after seeing if he can come close to repeating his 2015 BA Stat.
I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
