2015 Collecting Goals/Resolutions
#21

RE: 2015 Collecting Goals/Resolutions
1) Get everything sorted and added to Beckett
2) Spend more money on PC and less on hobby boxes
3) Sell off the piles of cards I've accumulated (duplicates, commons, etc.)
4) Continue trying to reduce the number of players I collect

I'm still learning this site and haven't figured out how to tell what someone's "Wants" are, so don't know what you are lacking. Saw a few cards in your Trade list that I was interested in.
Thanks, man! I will see if you have any we need.

RE: 2015 Collecting Goals/Resolutions
I always make a list of goals and I never make a dent in it. Here's hoping I do this year:

1-start adding more vintage to my Yankees collection. I have a lot of holes in my 1950's and 1960's sets.

2-get to 60 Yankees related signed baseballs , former or current players, coaches, managers, broadcasters, etc. I'm at 48 right now.

3-get back to sending out TTM requests.

4-re-dedicate myself to my various PC's. Looking on eBay the other night, I saw a lot of Tino, Jeter and Teixeira cards I need. I also want to build up my Mantle and Clemente PC's as well.

5-pick up more bobbleheads and figurines.

6-Re-dedicate myself to my blog and try to get more followers for it. I enjoy writing it and I do think I'm OK with it. I need to throw myself back into it.

7-Finish organizing my collection. I am moving large team sets into binders and smaller sets into top loaders and penny sleeves and moving them into monster boxes. I also want to know just how many Yankee cards I have. I believe I have close to 15,000 different and unique Yankees cards. I just want to know for sure.

8-Have fun again.

Mike

3. Keep better track of my trades and not them sit too long and leave feed back quickly and promptly
4. Pay off 2 unsecured debts and not ever borrow money again. (Dave Ramsey-- except for a new house)
5. hit 900 trades I have 1 have 147 to hit that mark.

Trying to be as realistic as possible

Unrealistic a 1909-1911 T-206 Honus, Plank, Doyle,Magie LOL
well lets see where I am at
1- I am now at 1354 different Nolan Ryans
2- Picked up 8 T-206 this year above my goal
3- Doing better but still need to stay on top of it
4- Everthing goes to plan I will definitely have 1 debt paid off by Christmas time
5-I am at 813 trades

My goals for balance of 2015:

1. Complete card organization project. Sounds easy but with over 400,000 cards it's a little intimidating.
2. Sell 1,000 cards to provide much needed money for balance of list.
3. Get Twins PC (of players not named Carew, Puckett or Mauer) over 13,000 (about 850 to go).
4. Add 50 cards to Carew PC.
5. Add 50 cards to Puckett PC.
6. Add 100 cards to Mauer PC.

RE: 2015 Collecting Goals/Resolutions
My goal is to finally decide on a PC player for every position and collect them. I created a forum about this last year but then I lost sight on it due to my deployment. Once I finally settle on a player then I'm going to build the thread again.

I also am determined to finish this set off as I am down to the last few. Probably the toughest one will be Mantle $$$
