So I found a Trader with these cards:
2003 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Gold #125 Eddie George
2002 Absolute Memorabilia Ground Hoggs Gold #GH2 Eddie George

1998 Topps Stars Bronze #90 Eddie George

1998 Topps Stars Gold #90 Eddie George

1998 Topps Stars Silver #90 Eddie George
Attributes: S# /3999

So I wrote interested in these. What do you need in Trade for them. His answer was :
I am only trading for jerry rice, lebron james and michael jordan high end.

Now I know the Mirror gold is around $40ish but the rest is low end stuff. But isn't expecting High End of those 3 players a little high in expectations?

I did ask him if he would take cards in the same Price range and he stated this:
No I will not. I am ONLY looking for high end cards of those 3 players.

Of Course this is the guy that wanted $300 for a Stefan lefors Card. So maybe I am just looking at the wrong trader

Sounds like he is the wrong trader to be dealing with looking for high end items for the cards you're interested in.

I think so. I asked him what in his opinion is High end. He said this:
Cards that sell for $100 and up.

Wow SV of $100 for 5 cards that Sv would probably be $15 to $25 max. Ouchhh.

Yeah he has a Trader rating of 7 and with those expectations I don't see it shooting up very fast. I mean I know they are his cards to trade off but you have to be realistic to some degree on what you can get for them

Not trying to be mean here, but as you yourself said, they ARE his cards to trade off how he wants. There is nothing wrong with what he wants either. What IS wrong, is expecting him to trade cards away for something he neither wants nor needs.

Right now, I am ONLY collecting Sam Braford rookie year autographs. I have box hits that people want, but they don't have Bradford autos for me. There is no point in me trading my cards for something I don't collect in return. Now, I HAVE done that once, because I wanted a NASCAR card with a tire piece in it. And thanks to The Great 48, I got one... and promptly spilled an entire glassful of tea on it and ruined it... grrrr! Anyway, you already gave the bottom line in your comment -- they are his cards to trade away. You could always offer to get more cards from him to even up what you would be trading to him.

Thats just it though I offered the Players he wants based on the Values of the cards I want equal too or even matched individually. So its not me offering him junk or players he doesn't collect like your story pointed out. Its me offering stuff he's asking for just that he wants it to be worth More. He's even stated that he needed a few things from the stuff I offered but that it isn't high dollar "Enough". Its like a Stefan Lefors card he has. Bv $50 offered him a $75 Jordan for it (that he needed). He wants $300 cash (What he paid for it in 2005) or $500 bv jordan Since its "rare". I mean to each their own but come on......
