Worth the risk?

Worth the risk?
Im on the fence on Buying a box of 2005 Ultimate Football hobby box.
Im sure you know why I want to buy this box.

But Is it even worth trying to buy this box to pull an Aaron rodgers?

Am I better off buying 2005 Playoff Contenders?

or do I just cut the risk and save up to buy an Aaron Rodgers Rc auto?

buy the box if there's other stuff you want...buy the card if it's the only thing you want, but with every win (and presumably a SB victory) the card will keep rising in value $$

Which box would you rather open;
Ultimate or Contenders?

i'd rather open contenders in all honesty....better odds and you'll get more "hits"....ultimate is more lottery where you hope for something, contenders you should get four somethings

2005 is rough. Better just to save, and save and save up.
Trying to finish these sets:
1999 Upper Deck Strike Force Quantum /100
2000 Score Complete Players Green/ Blue
2000 Leaf Piece of the Game Preview 4th Down Isaac Bruce
2008 Premier NFL Equipment /25 John Elway

Let me know if you have any available.

I agree. I often thought about buying a box (did on a few occassions) hoping to pull one card...... never happened. Now I jus save myself the disappointment of the box break & jus buy the card that I want.

RE: Worth the risk?
My advice is to buy Favre autos now and in 5-10 years when Arod cools off then grab some of his stuff. Right now his cards are insane!!!!
Unique Cards:
Dolphins - 6000+
Marino - 2140
Zach Thomas - 869
Jason Taylor - 749
Lamar Miller - 341
