NY JETS.. (Pennington/Clemens)
popaznsupastar Wrote:Pennington farts and gets hurt. I am not hoping or wishing injury on anyone, but it is his history. He is "Fragile". Take everything so serious, lighten up! It is a discussion board, and if you dont want to hear what some people think, then don't post.premmy32 Wrote:jstump37 Wrote:Clemens will hold the clipboard until the 2nd quarter of the first game, when he'll come in and replace Pennington, who will be hurt and out for the season by then.  So true. |

NY JETS.. (Pennington/Clemens)
Pennington seems to have freaky accidents
2003 Preseason, falls on the ground at the Meadowlands and breaks bones in his left hand, I've seen a thousand quarterbacks fall and never do that. 2004 in Buffalo, diving headfirst to try and get a first down, injures his shoulder. Weird landing. 2005 Against Jacksonville, that is a wicked arm bend when he gets tagged by Meier of the Jags, he was lucky his career was not done. 2007 The ankle gets bent under due to poor O line play. But he kept fighting. He is a more cerebral QB than Clemens, Clemens has the stronger arm. The organization wants Clemens to succeed as Pennington is 30+, Clemens needs to show he can read the defenses better. If Pennington wins, the Jets will push Clemens back into the starting lineup unless the Jets are anove .500 |

Where did I say I wish ill on Pennington. I just stated what I feel is fact. If he stays healthy for the season, great for him... statistically, that's an impossibility though. |

GINGE01 Wrote:Pennington seems to have freaky accidents he didnt just fall to the ground lol, he threw the ball and was hit by a rushing Michael Strahan (i think) and tackled, he was hit off guard so stuck out his arm to soften the fall and he broke his arm , a very common way to hurt your arm. You can say hes fragile I guess, but hes not soft, hes played with multiple injuries, but I guess youd have to watch all the Jets games to know that |

You have these "statistics" on hand so we can investigate this "impossibility" for ourselves? |

With the injury histories of Pennington and Clemens, I would be looking 3rd string for the Jets.

But then for years, I wished it was Dan Marino's body in Ken O'Brien, damn, thinking about that 1983 draft again!!! |
