I have noticed he has been relieving lately. What is the reason for this? I would understand if the Mariners were limiting his innings but why not start him still?

They limited him for a few 3 innings outings for a month for a month, and now he is starting...and doing pretty good (except for his last start). And he is only...18 ? 19 ? And he is still in Wisconsin i believe.

I am French Canadian and what people mostly don't know is that there is only 5 months of baseball in Quebec/Ontario. Pretty amazing to see a young gun like him being drafted in the 1st round and doing so well.

I have all the confidence in the world the Mariners will find a way to mess this kid up before he makes it to the bigs. The M's track record with great pitching prospects almost makes me cry.

Matt Thornton
Travis Blackley
Clint Nageotte
Ryan Feierabend

Don't worry guys, per the latest BA Mag he splits games with Donnie Hume. They share the games, Hume going the first 5 or so and Aumont going for 3 after that. As you can see now though Aumont starts are being stretched out and he is gaining innings per outing.
