Hello, I finally opened some blaster boxes this year and it's from my favorite year of hockey 2021-22 because of the Red Wings rookies among others. I opened two blaster boxes of 2021-22 Upper Deck Metal Universe and it cost more money than I ever paid for one blaster box before and two blaster boxes cost more than one mega box. It seems there's cases and cases full of certain fat packs in retail stores and that supply makes retail cards really high.

I opened all the inserts I was supposed to and also got a pick. I didn't get the Red Wings rookies but I got a retro rookie of McTavish which is cool. The Skybox Prospects had the sapphire parallel in the same pack with it. The Cheddar is a miss-cut front and back as expected. There's at least on Sapphire parallel in every pack in the blaster boxes. No autograph or serial numbered cards but there's a nice of collection of hockey rookies here. There's jersey variations in here. Normally for the cost of the blaster there would have been a guarantee for a hit but not no more. I mean the ice is metal what more do you want?











Need to get more blasters the fat packs are garbage.

Hello Marians, this is the way it all began on forums but sort of start going away after breakers started on social media platforms like YouTube. Most of the breakers didn't know what they were doing to start off because nobody else really did it before including themselves. This was breaking before but wholesale has since dominated the internet. The main reason behind the retail prices going up on trading cards is the theft and fraud of merchandise that's so widespread in big retail chains now that the cards are sold in. I would say the cost went up a third of the price I started buying them at in retail stores for the same products. Takes the personal one on one collector's meeting and trading right out of it not to mention the costs of postage has almost doubled. Only real collectors can do these sort of things.
