4 Discounted Blasters of Topps Series 2 - Finally!
Friends,
Took one last shot at Series 2, and only because these were at Walmart (not Target) and were discounted ($2 peel-off coupon per blaster).
Sharks hadn't gotten to them yet - eight blasters on the shelf, grabbed two, went out to the parking lot and busted them.
One Mookie Betts base, no Luis Robert RC, plenty of dupes in both blasters.
Irritation at an all-time high.
Went back, grabbed two more blasters.
Third blaster - a Betts dupe, no Robert.
Fourth blaster, first six packs ... mostly dupes of third blaster, no Robert.
Already internally struggling with the "eff-it" dilemma of going back in and clearing them out.
Last pack - Robert RC!
So, eight blasters total over the last few days, up to 5-6 dupes of some guys.
2 Betts base, 1 Robert RC.
Officially done - and done whining - about this product.
Some shark can have the other 4 Robert RCs in the last 4 blasters at Walmart, I don't care, LOL.

Hmmm...wonder how much you could have saved by purchasing a single of Luis Robert.

Never give up!
...until you're exhausted from the product and finally pulled at least 1 of each card you wanted. Congrats. Time to retire, lol.

Either way Topps won on this round but I wasn't going to quit without getting what I wanted first, LOL

There’s a Robert RC in Big League, too. Did you get that one?
Seems as if that’s the only product I can find on the shelves.

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

I pulled two Roberts out of four Big League blasters, not to mention three autos, two Trout orange parallels, a Betts base and a Betts orange parallel.
Very good value for the money.
It's just Topps flagship I have an issue with ... nobody buys their flagship stuff for the hits, so they need to do a much better job on collation.
It's OK though ... they won't get me on it again.
