Topps S2 Blaster

Topps S2 Blaster
Had a decidedly better experience with our second blaster of the Topps Series 2 season.

Medallion - Soto

Inserts - 1980s Decades' Best Philadelphia Phillies; Giancarlo Stanton Relic (1985 35th Anniversary); Mike Trout Home Run Challenge; Decades' Best Roberto Clemente; Barry Larkin (1985 35th Anniversary).

SPs - Brendan Rodgers

SER - Will Smith Magenta Printing Plate 1/1

RCs -Luis Robert

Close enough to hand collecting Series 2 that I'll probably stay the course.

When you say "blaster," do you mean hobby box?

Unless something changed, I didn't think regular jersey cards were inserted into blasters, not to mention a 1/1 plate.

Nice stuff regardless ... glad to know someone is able to pull a Robert out of Series 2.

Wow. 1 of 1 plate, that's a great pull, and it's a player with potential! Congrats on such a strong box. That's like winning a giant poker hand in Vegas- i'd collect my winnings and leave the casino immediately.

This was the 7-pack, 14-cards (each) box, which also included the player medallion. Looking like a (positive) production fluke if that's the case on plate and jersey relic.

That is indeed a blaster ... nice pulls!

Good to know they are seeding that stuff back into them.

Guaranteed Manu relic card in each in exchange for no autos in Flagship blasters!

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

Yeah, not a good tradeoff.

But I didn't know you could still pull regular mem cards.

Anyway, it doesn't matter ... if it takes me eight blasters to pull one base card, there is no reason to pursue these ever again.
