Use a pop up blocker or ad blocker like "adblock plus" it's just a browser extension and works great especially on Beckett. All the pop ups and nearly all the ads disappear.
The pages load so much faster too.

These are a new nuisance. Have pop up stoppers on my home computer but I can't be adding those to my computers at work.
