How can one tell the difference in which class the card is

You need to look real close at the left side in the foil for what Class it is. If you use a magnifier you will be able to see it. Also there was a Beckett article on the difference in poses to help you determine the class.

Your welcome. The class 3 are the hardest to get btw.
And then there are Black, Blue, Gold and Red variations..and the Blacks are not serial #ed..the other color variations are...
