I can't believe how stupid Yahoo was ... Jofers's horrible tragedy was pretty much confirmed early that same morning that they posted this.
I don't believe this was a hoax or anything like that.
.... Or perhaps they were planning to give him a day prior to hearing about the accident? .... Actually, Now i am wondering ... If he was scheduled to pitch that day, why was he out fishing in the late evening/early morning? Was he going to be given a day off to face the Mets in the first game of a series instead of facing The Bravos on Sunday? Or was this just a gaff by Yahoo after misinformation? Anyone?
