If I were to use baseball cards to create random fantasy baseball teams for a solo league, how would you do it?

I was thinking of creating six teams, one based on each division, and using WAR as the way to select players - but I'd rather somehow use baseball cards to select rosters. Thoughts?

If you want to go by random chance, why not take a handful of players at each position, and flip the cards a la schoolyard memories. Closest to the wall wins.
