1997-98 TSC refractors....different protection peels??
Ok...I found both of these cards. Everything is exactly the same except for the text/font/direction of the "TOPPS FINEST PROTECTOR PEEL AND REMOVE COATING"

Don't know if this is "common" in this series, or if it is something from a cut sheet??

Any insights?

got me curious man so I went and glanced at some of my finest cards, found 16 diagonal peels and 6 vertical ones- 4 of which were from 99-00 Finest oddly enough. One was a Ray Allen refractor from 97-98, so I'm guessing it just happened that way sometimes, I dunno.
I collect Michael Jordan, Mitch Richmond, and Ohio State players (football and basketball) in OSU gear. I strongly prefer 90's-era cards and use newer cards primarily for trade bait!
