What are these so-called "NSCC Diamond Edition 1/1" cards that Burbank is selling ??
Huh

There are a bunch of supposed 1/1 cards listed for sale by Burbank Sports Cards
that don't show up in a normal search via the marketplace home page.
However they DO display when you search directly from Burbank's dealer page:

2002 Topps Diamond Edition

http://marketplace.beckett.com/burbanksp...nd+edition

http://marketplace.beckett.com/search/?t...%2Bedition

Does anybody know what the story is with these? Are they legit?
The listings kinda sorta imply that maybe they came from a past NSCC...
but can anybody confirm that? Are there official checklists somewhere?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

They just ran the release name into the insert type, they are called Topps Ten There was a baseball set too, only printed this set in 2002.
Baseball = 2002 Topps Ten
Baseketball = 2002-03 Topps Ten

I don't believe the Diamond Edition had anything to do with Topps. I believe it was a 2nd hand promotion to add the "1/1 Diamond Edition" stamp to a card. I know they did similar things at some big card shows, so NSCC is definitely a possibility to their origin.
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards.  Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.

I thought you meant the set in general, the "Diamond Edition" is simply from someone who had a printer and stamped a bunch of cards from 2002 basically these would be graded as "Altered". These pop up every once and awhile in every sport all from 2002, they also used a 24kt 1 of 1 stamp. Here are a few examples I found from just a quick search:
